Do you feel the pain?
As millions burn in funeral pyre around the world, do you feel the pain? But then, such pain is ephemeral as billions clamor for tomorrow’s meal and the rest, Amazon’s deliveries. As they fall like dominos in the developing world, as the leader in cool shades try to make points in the West, humanity rots. Is there anybody out there?
I doubt it. As the scientists intellectualize for themselves and the religious pray for nobody else, the irrelevant blue dot continues to spin in distress. As the academics push for speculative ideas and the ones in the streets lose hope, do you feel the pain? As the billionaires funded by the government trade cryptos and those the young ones admired, reveal their true selves by ego and lust, do you feel the pain?
I doubt it. As the leader in the East attempts to move temples on square wheels as his country implodes, as the criminal in the West assembles an army of ever willing lawyers to defend himself against democracy, do you feel the pain? As the idiot in the South tries to clear his country of humans and the one in the North who still attempts to precisely determine how much bread and guns to produce, do you feel the pain?
I doubt it. Humans!
