Necessary condition for democracy

Democracy, “ a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives,” requires a necessary condition. The system requires the whole population, all eligible members of a state, to participate in the process. So, in country with black, white, brown, yellow and even purple, all should be able to participate. All genders, all sexual preferences, any height, weight and aspect ratio, all should be able to participate. Those who go to churches, temples, mosques and other religious houses, all should be able to participate. Those who have yachts and mansions and those living in shacks to make do, all should be able to participate.

That’s the system, we call democracy. It does not care if you wear white, saffron, yellow or black, it does not care if you chant or pray, it does not care if you hide your faces or just your genitals, it does not care if you hold hands and shout in houses of worship, or just hold on to iron pillars inside a subway train, it does not care if you go to the symphony or just listen to the street music, it does not care if one is greater than the other.

That’s the system, we call democracy. Any person, institution or organization that is working toward restricting voting rights is a killer of democracy. It does not matter if they are supreme justices in the greatest land or just idiots in a third world country. They should all be put in jail.
